The Ford Foundation awarded a $150,000 planning grant to the Center for Community Development and Civil Rights, a division of ASU’s College of Public Programs, in support of its Latino Male High School/College Achievement Program. The program is a demonstration project that will identify and test promising interventions to address the current educational achievement of Latino male high school students within the context of the Latino educational gender gap. It will be designed and implemented as a Maricopa-County-wide initiative.
