Fall 2007 Yzaguirre Speaking Engagements

Raul Yzaguirre, Executive Director of the Center for Community Development and Civil Rights, addresses various groups during his travels across the nation.

  • On November 1, 2007, Raul Yzaguirre was keynote speaker at the National Hispanic Council on Aging (NHCOA) Annual Conference in Dallas, Texas.  The luncheon theme was Inspiring Social Change:  Learning from our National Leaders.  NHCOA's Annual Conference is the preeminent information-sharing and networking event for professionals dedicated to understanding the needs and securing the wellbeing of the fastest-growing older adult population in the U.S.
  • Project Interchange-Seminars in Israel celebrated its 25th year of education American and international leaders about Israel with a Tribute Dinner held in Washington, D.C. on October 28, 2007.  Raul Yzaguirre addressed the attendees as the guest alumni speaker relating his experience in Israel to his professional and communal sphere of influence.
